A good pair of waterproofs should fit easily over my walking trousers/shorts, in my opinion, a really good pair should have zips for quick access and ventilation and they must be fast to put on when the weather turns. The Sprayway Rask Trousers l am wearing for this test are the XXL size as a 42-inch waist and even though the sizing states 40 inches for XXL, there was still space for me. This space is crucial for accommodating layers underneath.
