Grubs Tempest Boot Review Comfort and Style for Long Days

Grubs are famous for outdoor footwear that is comfortable and practical. Like their wellies and walking boots. The Tempest at first glance, you may think these were dress boots, and you would be right. They would not look out of line next to Timberlands, but they are more than just style.

The Grubs Tempest boot is a non-safety work boot that promises exceptional comfort and a stylish aesthetic. Crafted from soft Iberian leather with handsome stitch detailing, these Chelsea-style boots are a great choice for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet and is conscious of good looking footwear.

Ok, you’re probably thinking, why are these guys reviewing a work boot? There are several reasons,  1: They are from Grubs and everything we have tested from Grubs so far has been excellent, so why not give these a fair shake? 2: Outdoors is not just hiking, we are very inclusive here and we love being outdoors, be that fixing the shed, walking the dog, drinking beers in the garden, flying the drone and in all these situations where a dressier boot that is still practical and comfortable is always welcome. 3: We love boots!

My Experience Of The Grubs Tempest Boot:

I’ve personally put these boots to the test with a few 12-hour days on my feet, walking on a variety of hard surfaces and a lot of standing around. The comfort level is outstanding. My feet remained warm and dry throughout the day, thanks to the combination of the cushioned footbed, moisture-wicking lining, and the boot’s inherent watertight leather construction.

The elasticated panels and pull toggles make getting the boots on and off a breeze, which is a huge plus for those who need to change footwear frequently or struggle with laces. I also appreciate the stylish design – these boots look great both on and off the site. And as mentioned earlier are perfect for outdoor barbecues, dog walking, outdoor events and other locations where stylish yet practical footwear is required.

After a muddy walk with the dog along the local canal path, the boots were looking a bit grimy. I allowed the gathered mud to dry, then swept it off with a brush and then gave a final clean with a cloth. Effortless. Caring for the leather is straightforward, requiring only occasional cleaning and conditioning.
